Location – South Okkalapa
The Job
• This Quality Control (QC) will conduct inspections, develop quality procedures, collaborate with teams to resolve defects, analyze data, and maintain records for a food manufacturing company.
• This person will lead the junior fellows and report to the factory manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and perform routine quality checks at every stage of the production process (raw materials, in-process, and finished products).
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and Myanmar FDA standards.
• Maintain accurate QC records, lab test results, and production reports.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, and QA departments to solve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with external laboratories for microbiological and chemical analysis as required.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and recommend preventive actions.
• Assist in preparing quality-related documentation for government inspections and certifications.
Requirements
• Must be a graduate person.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, in a food manufacturing environment.
• Former Lead or Supervisory experience preferred. Familiar with ISO standards a plus.
• Strong computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Windows applications.
• Be good at conceptual skill and analytical skill
• Attention to detail, accurate and concise.
• Able to keep neat and organized record and files.
• Good problem-solving skills. Safety conscious at all times.
