Job Description
Monitor and maintain internet connections and network performance to ensure maximum uptime and stability.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortigate Firewall, VPN, and FortiClient access systems.
Ensure availability and smooth operation of file servers and critical IT systems.
Maintain and support network devices including routers, switches, and access points.
Provide technical support and resolve internet/VPN connectivity issues for branch offices.
Monitor server backup processes and storage utilization to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Implement and maintain IT security measures and access control policies.
Respond promptly to critical infrastructure and network-related incidents.
Coordinate with ISP vendors and external service providers for technical support and issue resolution.
Prepare and submit infrastructure monitoring and performance reports.
Support infrastructure improvement initiatives and system optimization projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
Minimum (2–5) years of experience in Network, Infrastructure, or System Support roles.
Hands-on experience with Fortigate Firewall, VPN, FortiClient, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
Good understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Network Security, and Internet Connectivity.
Experience in Windows Server, File Server Management, Backup, and Storage Monitoring.
Familiarity with IT security practices and access control management.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to urgent technical issues in a timely manner.
Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
Ability to prepare technical documentation and infrastructure reports.
CCNA, MTCNA, Fortinet, or other related certifications will be an added advantage.
