Job Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs and objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and research to identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers of raw materials, components, and services.
- Negotiate favorable contracts, pricing, and terms for goods and services.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, ordering, and inventory control.
- Ensure materials and components are delivered on time to avoid production delays
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Production, Logistics, Finance) to synchronize procurement and manufacturing needs.
- Collaborate with the production team to forecast material requirements based on production schedules.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess stock, ensuring efficient production flow.
Requirements
- Any Graduate and related diploma
- Minimum 2–4 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
- Hands-on experience in purchasing raw materials, machinery spare parts, or production consumables
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing procurement processes and material planning
- Experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, and vendor evaluation
- Understanding of production schedules, inventory control, and lead time management
