
Job Description
• Manage end-to-end export and import operations in compliance with international
trade laws and customs regulations.
• Prepare, review, and approve shipping and trade documentation (invoices, packing lists,
bills of lading, certificates of origin, LC documents, etc.).
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and airlines.
• Ensure timely customs clearance of goods and resolve any shipment delays or
discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage duties, taxes, tariffs, and trade agreements to optimize cost
efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with export controls, sanctions, and restricted-party regulations.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, finance, and warehouse teams for smooth trade
operations.
• Identify risks in international logistics and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions for audits and reporting.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements with logistics service providers.
• Stay updated on changes in international trade regulations and customs procedures.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management,
Commerce, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in international trade, customs, or logistics are preferred
Experience
• 5–8 years of experience in export and import operations or international logistics.
• Hands-on experience with customs clearance, trade documentation, and freight
coordination.
• Experience dealing with multiple countries, ports, and trade regulations.
