Job Description

1. Direct Sales Execution and Customer Acquisition • Execute the defined high-touch software sales process to acquire new clients within the retail sector. • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and discovery through negotiation and contract signing. • Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations, clearly articulating the business value and Return on Investment (ROI) of digitizing retail operations (e.g., inventory accuracy, digital payments, and sales reporting) to prospective clients. • Consistently meet or exceed individual monthly and quarterly revenue targets (quotas). • Provide field-level guidance and on-the-job coaching to a team of Customer Acquisition Specialists to ensure consistency in software demonstrations and pitch quality. • Client Relationship and Account Management. • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact during the sales process. • Understand client organizational structures, business challenges, and strategic objectives to position our software as the optimal solution. • Collaborate with the Acquisition Manager to strategize on complex accounts and ensure the entire sales execution aligns with the overall GTM strategy. 2. Pipeline Management and Reporting • Rigorously manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring all activities, communications, and deal stages are accurately logged and forecasted. • Provide accurate and timely sales reports and activity updates to the Acquisition Manager. • Work closely with the Marketing team to follow up on and qualify leads generated through various marketing campaigns. 3. Product Knowledge and Collaboration • Maintain an expert-level understanding of all company software products and their unique value propositions in solving enterprise operational pain points. • Work collaboratively with Product Managers and technical teams to address client technical questions, custom requirements, and ensure a smooth handover for implementation. • Gather and provide constructive client feedback from the field to the Product Manager to inform product development and improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in direct B2B sales or account management, specifically selling software, SaaS, or technology solutions. • Ability to conduct frequent, in-person field visits to retail locations across Yangon for face- to-face demonstrations. • Demonstrated ability to navigate and close deals within complex enterprise organizations. • Proven track record of consistently achieving individual sales targets (quota). • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. • High level of comfort with mobile/tablet-based apps and the ability to troubleshoot basic software demo issues on the fly. • Proficient in using CRM software for pipeline management and daily sales activities. Preferred Qualifications • Experience selling software (especially Retail POS or Digital Commerce software) within the Myanmar market. • Experience engaging with operational or C-Level stakeholders in the Manufacturing or Distribution sectors. • A strong network within the local enterprise business community.
